Moving Right Along

Haven't written for a while. My bad.

Spring Break was great. Not much to talk about there. It was great having Victor here for the three days after we got back. Might've put on a good thirty pounds from all the food we got though.

Andy and the Dragon was awesome. Scored in the top one third in the class AND got a standing ovation which was pretty incredible.

The last few weeks here have been pleasant and noneventful, which is great considering everything that happened in February and March. The quiet life never felt so good. There really isn't much that can top a warm cup of tea and twenty-six volumes of Dragonball Z. Speaking of which, I really miss that show.

While we are on the topic, did anyone ever notice that Yamcha consistently got the shaft at literally every turn. He lost soundly in the first round of every tournament, got killed by a Saibaman, then had his woman stolen by the man responsible for his death for more or less no reason at all. What the hell? I mean even Tien had some glory. He beat Goku at one point. Krillan not only got some really good fights in, he also got some character development AND he got the girl... Er... Female Cyborg. The only character possibly shafted more was Chou-Zu who somehow only had one fight in the entire series, but then he was never made out to be more than a Pikachu look-a-like. Anyone else feel kinda bad for the poor guy? The best thing we actually see Yamcha do is play baseball, which admittedly was pretty sweet.

Got three weeks left here and I haven't been happier or more relaxed. I really think I'm going to miss my roommate. He's a really cool guy and I'll be sad to say goodbye. Oh well, ya win some ya lose some.
