Finally got around to playing Brawl at the local Hollywood Video. My first thought was that it was a slightly better animated, copy of Melee with more characters and the new final smash feature (which is awesome). Then I played as Link. They dumbed him the fuck down. His boomerang now makes the gayest looking tornado in the world and his death spin B-up move which was always my favorite no longer has the same power and reach it previously did. This is tragic for me as a seasoned Link veteran since the original Smash Bros. Aside from that, it played very well and the new characters were fun, especially Pokemon Trainer.
In other news, the Forbidden Kingdom was really really good and I'm up to the castle portion of RE 4 after being frustrated by REmake to the point of throwing my controller. Yeah... That was basically my weekend.
